PREMIER Resource Plan (financing, capacities, personnel)

The resources of a project include equipment and reagents as well as personnel, facilities, IT-services and funding among other. The following questions should be answer before starting the project:

• Are all required resources available, including personnel with right skills?
• Are resources being shared with other projects? If yes, when are they available?
• Is there a preliminary time table for use of the different resources?

Is the process for ordering of goods within the organization understood/followed?

There are some open source project management software tools easy to use such as “Open Project” that can help in the process or planning resources for a particular project.
